2. Installed toolbars also cause a web browser to work slower. A toolbar is a row of icons and buttons on the top of your web browser. The most common used toolbars are: Google toolbar and Yahoo! toolbar. There are also toolbars that get installed to your web browser without your permission, as a result of spyware. It may be better for you to uninstall all the toolbars you are not using. By doing this your web browser will perform faster.
3. Spyware and viruses can also slow down your internet speed. Please check if your computer has a virus or spyware by running a scan with your Internet security software or an anti spyware software.
